About Mathurah Astride

I am a dedicated, passionate, and responsible educator with professional experience in both pre-primary and primary education. My work with young learners has allowed me to develop a strong understanding of children's educational, emotional, social, and developmental needs at different stages of their learning journey. Throughout my teaching experience, I have planned and delivered engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities designed to encourage children's curiosity, creativity, confidence, and love for learning. I have experience in developing activities related to language and communication, numeracy, general knowledge, arts and crafts, storytelling, songs and rhymes, physical activities, environmental awareness, and practical learning. Working at the pre-primary level has strengthened my ability to create a warm, caring, and stimulating classroom environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to participate. At the primary level, I have further developed my skills in lesson preparation, classroom management, supporting individual learning needs, assessing progress, and helping pupils develop both academically and personally. I believe that every child has unique abilities and potential. My teaching approach is therefore centred on patience, encouragement, positive reinforcement, and providing opportunities for children to learn through interaction, exploration, creativity, and practical experiences.
