About Reema Ramrutton

Hi! I’m Reema, a friendly and dedicated tutor with a BSc (Hons) in Software Engineering and an MBA in Project Management. I also have several years of professional experience in IT and business analysis, allowing me to bring practical knowledge into my lessons. I teach Mathematics from Grade 1 to Grade 13, Additional Mathematics for Grades 10 and 11, Computer Science from Grade 10 to Grade 13, and Information Systems from Grade 1 to Grade 10. My teaching approach is patient, clear, and student-focused. I break down difficult topics into simple steps and use examples, guided practice, exercises, and exam-style questions to strengthen understanding. I adapt each lesson to the student’s level, learning pace, and specific needs. For Mathematics and Additional Mathematics, I focus on building strong foundations, problem-solving skills, accuracy, and confidence. For Computer Science and Information Systems, I combine theory with practical examples to help students understand concepts and their real-world applications. I teach in English and French, and I can also explain concepts in Mauritian Creole when helpful. My goal is to make learning enjoyable and less stressful while helping every student build confidence, improve their understanding, and achieve better academic results.
